Does it do the same when you click on the formula icon, or clicking on f6? Or accessing examples from the tiny cross on the far left. Once you access a spot you can try changing it. I have had a few glitches over the 6 years I have been using the program, but as you say the program will return to a recovery spot...Using the program on my Vista 64 PC I cannot access any of the Sterlingware formulas. I don't mind as there is so much else available... This is strange. Maybe try running a registry cleaner like Glary Utilities (free from Cnet) I don't know what else to suggest right now. Will have a think. One thing I really like about FE is that it stays the same, no updates to cope with. Good right from the very beginning.
Nevermind, I think it works now. I deleted everything in the folder, downloaded again and reinstalled. It was the main button with the square root (the one with nearly all the options, I couldn't do anything ) I love FE because it's very simple, with only a few options, so that making something interesting is a challenge, especially when you're used to UF or Apo.
