My first tutorial

This is the technique I use in many of my bipolar fractals.

If you have any questions, or if something is unclear, feel free to ask. Also, I'd love to see your results! :-)

For more about bipolar, check out the awesome tutorial by `SaTaNiA [link]

Thanks! It's Apophysis, a fractal generating software (and it's free!)

wow, thanks :D I made two (will link later, they're rendering) and they came out great! I made one your way, then saw :iconplangkye:'s comment and tried it with Ellpitic, and I love :D

So on a whim, I decided to try this technique with Elliptic instead of Bipolar because both have sharply defined edges. Exactly the same, except with Bipolar replaced with Elliptic, and with the cylinders and linears re-positioned because the "gaps" are at the left and right instead of top and bottom with Elliptic (alternatively, I could have post-transformed the Elliptic with a 90-degree rotation so it would have been really identical, but I did this instead).

And THIS happened! [link]

Thought maybe you'd be interested to know :)
